Makes: 12–15 cookies
Apple Pie Filling:
• 3 apples, chopped
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tbsp salted butter
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Cinnamon Sugar Cookies:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup salted butter (room temp)
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup oil
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon (for coating)
*Salted Caramel I used was storebought!
Bakes at 350 degrees!
*Use a 1 TBSP measuring spoon to press into cookie to make well and Bake for 8–9 minutes, remove,
re-press centers, then bake another 1–3 minutes until edges are golden.
Cool cookies. Fill centers with apple pie filling and drizzle with salted caramel! Top with flaky salt but not necessary!
